What is NMI?
NMI is the means through which the Church of the Nazarene supports mission workers and meets human needs around the world.
NMI Mission Statement:
To mobilize the church in mission through praying, discipling, giving, and educating.

Ways We Support Global Missions:
1. Alabaster Offering
Collected twice a year, Alabaster Offering is one avenue of support for global missions.
Alabaster funds help provide land for many Work & Witness projects, and the entire Alabaster Offering goes toward the purchase of land and construction of churches, schools, medical facilities, and homes for missionaries and national workers around the world! 2. Crisis Care Kits
Crisis Care Kits (CCKs) contain essential hygiene products to be distributed to individuals in times of crisis.
Crisis Care Kits (CCKs) continue to meet needs around the world. The kits have gone to places like Belize, California, Dominican Republic, Greensburg, KS, Haiti, Jamaica, Jordon, Louisiana, Philippines, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, and Zambia. Most recently, the kits have been shipped to victims of the Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.
CCKs are a cooperative effort between Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Incorporated (NCMI) and Nazarene Missions International (NMI).

3. School Pal-Paks
School Pal-Paks provide students in Nazarene primary schools with the supplies they need to facilitate learning.
Unfortunately, children around the world often do not have the supplies needed for school. In countries with economic challenges, families cannot afford to purchase supplies, or siblings are often required to share the supplies. In response to the need, Nazarene Missions International partnered with Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Inc. (NCM, Inc.) to provide School Pal-Paks

4. Easter and Thanksgiving Offerings for the World Evangelism Fund
Accomplishing the Great Commission—spreading the gospel and the message of holiness around the world—requires money. The World Evangelism Fund was created to allow missionaries to work more effectively and to encourage all churches to support missions. Employed missionaries (excluding volunteers) in the Church of the Nazarene receive medical insurance and a monthly paycheck based on a standard amount plus a cost-of-living adjustment..

5. Food Packing for Feed Nicaragua
Several members of our congregation word together to at our most recent meal-packing event in September 2017.
On three different occasions, we have worked with the NiCE Foundation to pack meals destined for Nicaragua. This is a new tradition that we plan to continue in the future. We purchase and pack an average of 15,000 meals each time we host a food-packing event.
Feed Nicaragua is a ministry of the NiCE Foundation (Nicaragua Christian Education) and an affiliate of Kids Against Hunger, an organization whose mission is to “significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and to feed starving children throughout the world.”
Kids Against Hunger ships meals to starving children in over 60 countries through partnerships with humanitarian organizations like Feed Nicaragua.
There are several other opportunities for global giving throughout the year.
