This morning during children’s church, our kiddos experienced a taste of what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Under the direction of our NMI (Nazarene Missions International) President Marsha Courtney, they assembled 10 School Pal-Paks to be sent to children in countries with economic challenges where families cannot afford to purchase school supplies.
This was a great opportunity for our children to be involved in a missions project, and it teaches them that missionary work doesn’t always have to be done abroad. There are missionary opportunities everyday, all around us. Additionally, this particular project—the need for school supplies—is one with which the children can connect on a personal level at this point in their young lives.
Great work, kids! We praise the Lord for such a wonderful group children!
